The new CH(Gomez, Cammalleri, Gionta, Spacek)

I think we have a better team now. When I heard about Gomez and how much he would cost compared to how many points he usually generates, I though meh, a slightly better player than Koivu but way more expensive. Alright, maybe it's the best center available, I get it. But then Bob signed Cammalleri and Gionta the next day, and it all made perfect sense. You can't get Cammalleri if you don't have Gomez. Same thing for Gionta.

Cammalleri is the big catch for Bob. We finally have a player that has the potential of scoring more than 40 goals, and will certainly score over 32-35. With Gionta and Gomez having played together in New Jersey, we can expect good chemistry with our first line. A much better first line than what we had last year.

Alright, so no Tanguay and no Kovalev. I like Tanguay, but like Bob said, it doesn't make any sense to have two play makers on the first line(Gomez and Tanguay). As for Kovalev, Bob offered him a competitive contract, but when Gionta said yes first, and Kovalev hesitated, Bob had to go with the sure thing at the risk of losing both players. Honestly, as much as I love Kovalev, the fact that he couldn't give his 100% all the time always annoyed me. I think we're moving in the right direction, provided that the newcomers have better work ethic. Right now, I can't say if that's true or not. Hey, there's still a free spot if Kovalev really wants to stay, but he probably can get more money elsewhere.

Also, we now have Spacek to fill in the void left by Komisarek the traitor. Fuck you Komisarek! My only wish is that you have no success in Toronto, and I'm looking forward to buying overpriced tickets to the first Toronto-Habs game and booing you. Prick.
