I stumbled upon this thread a few minutes ago. I admit I can't tell whether the info is reliable or not.

RE:Run good

I feel that the info in this article is reliable. Most of the games i have won first place or top 3 (at least 10 times online in MTT)wasnt because i played my best ever poker. Couple times, i ve been extremely lucky later in the tourney and sucked out. However, the same pattern happened in the other sense, when i was playing my best poker and other "lucky" players hit one or two outers against me. I admit that most of my best performances werent rewarded and normal ones have been.

The variance is at his peak in MTTs.

Variance is high and that's

Variance is high and that's kind of what I like about MTTs. There's still a lot of value in playing them if you don't mind taking on the variance. Once in while you'll hit that big score that'll make it all worth it.
