There has been many upgrades of modules. Most of which shouldnt have made any major changes in features, however keep an eye out for bugs on the site in general and report them.

The new feature that is now semi functional is the points and level system. With it doing diffrent things on the site will give you points that in turn give you levels which will be displayed on your forum posts so that you can lord your awesome pokerfaction status over the lower levels. :-D. Im trying to bring the crack like effect of wanting to level from MMO's to pokerfaction.com. Points have been granted retroactively so all your old posts will count toward your current scores. The score you have today are not 100%final you may still be a little low because i have to count the old posts myself.

here are the ways to get points for the moment

2 points for a new forum topic
1 point for a comment on anything
1 point for replying to a thread in the forums
5 points for a blog entry
50 points for a poker article
50 points for a poker video

As you can see the scales are heavily tipped in the favor of content contributers because we hope to someday be a comunity content driven site.

The details as far as how the levels are going to work are not yet decided, once the level system is in place we will have a level requirement for having a blog, having access to ventrilo, and becoming a moderator. Mind you all those still going to be at our discretion. this will be a good way to keep access to these features limited to people who wont abuse them.

This being said I am cutting all the blogs who will not meet the level requirement now. Im sorry guys. We just want to keep the site professional. People who currently have ventrilo access will not be removed.

Edit: I forgot to mention that moderators will have access to give point or take points away at will. They will be encouraged to give give points to great posts and remove them if someone is being a tool.
